Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time (flexible evening/weekend shifts) veterinarian to become an integral member of our team. Our hospitals are committed to providing exceptional care to both small animals and exotics, serving as a trusted resource for pet owners in our local community.

About Our Hospitals

Our full service 24-hr facility with dedicated wellness, general practice and emergency centers offers a wide range of veterinary services including preventive care, a full range of diagnostics, advanced surgical procedures including orthopedic and laparoscopic, dental care, urgent care and emergency services, and rehabilitation. Our stand-alone feline facility offers cats a calm and welcoming environment with staff dedicated to providing the most up to date care. Our team is passionate about creating a supportive and educational environment for both staff and clients and we place a strong emphasis on community involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care to small animals and exotic pets
  • Perform examinations, diagnose illnesses, and collaborate with owners to develop treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners
  • Collaborate with staff veterinarians, veterinary technicians and other support team members
  • Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives as desired

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the state
  • Interest and/or experience in exotic animal medicine preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to community-based veterinary care
