Puppy Basics Course

Our next class session will begin in January 2010!

Puppy Basics is a great start for a puppy and his/her guardian!  This course will teach you the best ways to train your puppy.  It will include instruction on socialization, grooming, healthcare, basic commands, nutrition, behavior issues, and housetraining.  Our new instructor for the March/April classes is Katie Penco.

The course will include eight sessions, once weekly for one hour per week. 

At the very first orientation session, you and your pet will be given a “Basics Bag” that will include training treats, toothbrush, toothpaste, nail trimmers, and flea comb.

This class is appropriate for puppies six months and younger.  All puppies must be current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age.  Handlers must be at least 16 years of age.

The cost of the Puppy Basics Course is $90, payable to the Cheat Lake Animal Hospital.  Checks, credit cards, and cash will be accepted and payment will be due by your second class session.
